The heart of TimeIPS is a web server appliance. It comes with TimeIPS software pre-installed making deployment fast and easy. Since the device is connected to the Internet, TimeIPS technicians can access your server for updates, support and module installations. You can also sign up for the optional off site backup service.
Data collection devices connect with the TimeIPS server over your network (LAN, WAN or VPN). All punch data is recorded in real-time inside the TimeIPS database. If your network becomes unavailble, employees may still punch from the device. Data will be held until your network reconnects.
The TimeIPS software is managed through a web browser within your network. Managers and administrators log in with a username and password. The software allows them to seup HR policies and run reports. If given access, employees may also view their hours, schedules, request benefit hours and more.
Finally, data can be exported to run your own payroll or integrate with a wide range of payroll services.
